AI in healthcare

The Wellcome Trust commissioned a report from Future Advocacy that identifies many ethical, social and political challenges resulting from the use of AI in healthcare and biomedical research.

This is an insightful report consisting of a detailed review of existing literature, as well as interviewing more than 70 experts all round the world, to understand how AI is being used in healthcare, how it could be used in the near future, and what ethical, social, and political challenges these current and prospective uses present. The views of patients, their representatives, and members of the public have also been sought.
